Unique Pair of Victorian Gothic Style Black Moonstones in a Multi Prong Buttercup 14k Stud Post, with Beautiful Iridescents.
Moonstones are matched nicely for size, but as no two moonstones are identical, they do have slightly different color iridescence. Both have a greyish yellow, purple, burgundy chatoyancy, also known for being the cats eye effect.
Black moonstones are an uncommon stone & are believed to be a very powerful stone used for healing and protection. It was once believed these gems actually could help one move through unseen realms, making these highly desirable and popular among shamans.
